Be Well Barron County is a five year, county-wide, grant project that was awarded to the Barron County Safe & Stable Families Coalition, with help from the Healthier Cumberland Coalition. Be Well Barron County will work to increase physical activity, improve diets and decrease obesity for Barron County residents.
Be Well Barron County is funded privately by the Healthier Wisconsin Partnership Program (HWPP), a component of the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin endowment at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Healthier Wisconsin Partnership Program supports community partnerships that address public and community health improvement. The vision of HWPP is to improve the health of the people of Wisconsin.
